BELATED! AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! So sorry. I plan on keeping up with my posts, but I am still trying to figure out this html thing and it is so time consuming! I uploaded a custom template (not sure that I quite like it yet, we'll see) and I have been speed-teaching myself web design. I took a class once, but that was ALONGTIMEAGO! In any case, I heard about this artist from my friend Kelly, and she is pretty interesting. First of all, I love her name - Miranda July. It slips off the tongue like candy. It is a movie star name for sure. Miranda July. Miranda July. I keep saying it over and over again in my head. She is a filmmaker, artist and writer, but she is especially known for her moving pictures. I really love her movie "Me and you and everyone we know". I didn't realize that first when my friend Kelly introduced my to Miranda that she was the creative mind behind this movie, but I have seen it (as my boyfriend and I watch a lot of indie and underground movies). I'll give you a teaser. One of the main character lights his hand on fire.
